Meeting #2 with Aaron Hasenei

Shark physiology 101 with PhD Candidate, Aaron Hasenei

Aaron Hasenei at The FINstitute

HUGE thank you to Aaron Hasenei for an amazing talk on shark physiology. Some highlights from his talk included:

  • Having Aaron tell us about the not-so-linear path that brought him to his current area of research

  • Learning about why sharks (and fish in general) are “better athletes” than most professional human athletes (on a physiological level)

  • Talking about how phenotypic plasticity enables certain species to adapt to environmental changes

Full house at meeting #2
